My First Paratrooper(Sotong) at Queensbay Funfair

Labels: , ,

Two words:

SUPER DIZZY!

Let me record all this before I forget;

SEPTEMBER 11 2009, 10.20pm.

BEFORE

I was taking pictures of my brother and his wife sitting on that paratroopers thing or you call it as “Sotong” I think. After that, my brother invited me to sit.

Wah, my first reaction: “Arh, ai cheh ar. Ha.”(Arh, want to sit ar. Ok)

*started taking all my stuffs out from my pocket and gave them to my parents.*

DURING

So, I went to sit on the chair alone. Started asking my brother and his wife sitting behind me

Me: “Eh, au boh?” (Can vomit or not?)……

Brother: “Beh la” (Cannot la)..….

Me: “Eh, au boh?”……….

Brother: “Beh la”……

Me: “Eh, au boh?”….

Brother: “Beh la!” Mai Kua Teng Min. Kua Tau Cheng Hor Liau. (Cannot la! Don’t look at the sky but look in front)

OK. IN FRONT!! I remember asking him and myself for like 5 times. Then, I  calm myself down and the thing started moving. I wasn’t really actually scared but feel like curiosity-type-of-excitement.

Ah, then thing started to move. Slow………and………steady at first. I don’t really think much or feel much at first. Moving faster………and………faster. Still not much of feeling. I don’t even feel dizzy.

I even brag:

“Chiu, ahn kuan nia hor. Boh min kia eh…” (Chiu, like this only is it. Nothing one..)

Then……something weird happen. The thing was moving upward and downward now. OMFG! I have forgotten the thing can move sideway. Mayday!!! Mayday!!! I started to feel my whole “sim kua” (liver) is dropping down and up. But of course, I also felt dizzy. Then, feeling like puking. Wah lau, the feeling was quite new for me. But, I still remember my brother’s famous words “LOOK IN FRONT!” Good! It' really did help me.

There’s actually light bulbs at the back of each chair. So, just look at the lights in front of you. NEVER LOOK AT THE SKY! When the chair moves upward, I don’t really feel dizzy but when it goes down time, I straight feel dizzy.

Scary but true fact. When I was sitting it, half-way I can hear some crack sounds. Whoa, now I remembered today is September 11! Luckily, nothing happen. I guess that’s the sound of the chairs swinging.

AFTER

HAHHAHAHAHAHHA! No, I didn’t puke. You guessed wrong. I just couldn’t find my slippers after taking them off in the first place. I almost walked down without my slippers. Seriously, I was feeling DAMN %*^@(^(^&% DIZZY at that instant moment. My stomach was doing all kinds of sounds. My brother papah me down. My Ah Soh(brother’s wife) was the heroin. She never felt any dizziness. She sat on the Pesta’s Top Gun before. I really salute to those who can stand the dizzyness.

I walked down the stairs and kept saying “Hin ar, hin ar”(Dizzy ar, dizzy ar). I remember burped to my father after I walked down. I was burping like crazy. Luckily, or not I sure puke. Moments later, I was feeling so hot and I was SWEATING LIKE CRAZY. Ms Lim ( babysitted child’s mom) was there with us as well. She said that’s the symptoms of dizzyness. Ah, I see.

After a while, the dizzyness comes on and off. The worst part for me is I felt like puking all the time. I kept preventing myself from vomitting, tahannnn…… Ok, then when I was going home, I saw some Indian guy swinging his 2 children like the sotong thing.

I said,“Wah, so poor until must use himself as the sotong

That’s about it. My parents did play the throwing round steel coil thing and push the ping-pong balls to get high scores. Did won some useless stuffs. But, too bad no winny the pooh teddy bear for the small kid.

Not Going for Kayaking

Labels:

Cancelled, for me...
Most probably, I won't be going to Dianne's house for the pre-planned activity, kayaking. My mom doesn't let me. Among the reasons she gave:

a) Scared got tsunami( toh huit Hm.. )

b) Chinese New Year coming. That means the season of "rough wind" is coming near and the sea is rough too. Actually, I do experience tough winds nowadays in my home. As you know, my house faces near the sea, so I don't really need to switch on my living room fan. That is also why I don't switch on my fan when I'm sleeping in my room. (love saving energy)

c) This is of course the main reason: I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SWIM!

Not knowing this essential skill...
Actually, I do want to go for the kayaking. They look fun in TV. My friends always said I don't like doing such stuffs. You guys should know I like nature activities because I am so loyal to my nature. I sure support my friend(THE NATURE)'s activities. Just sometimes I don't have the mood to do so, instead prefer sleeping or maybe facing my "white box". Too bad, I don't know how to swim or else I would be joining you guys too. I know I can still go and have fun in other ways or I could even talk to my mother. When I think back, I got scared of the fact if I were to drown. I just watched "Poseidon" on Astro the other day. Bloated-stomach dead bodies! NO way I am gonna be like one of them. (Trying to find some wood to touch).

It's just weird that I don't know how to swim eventhough there's a swimming pool at my flat area. I can just simply ask my father for FREE swimming lessons. But, I didn't because I am lazy to learn that and I have no that determination to learn. I think it's gonna be dangerous to let an old man to teach you how to swim. I might save my dad instead. If one day Penang is to sink, I might just probably float on a wood and swim to Prai. Or maybe I can sit on my uncle's fishing boat. Vroom! Vroom! Off to our mainland! Look, it's not that bad afterall for not knowing how to swim. If you wanna a more secured way, buy a robot that can transforms into a hovercraft/ferry in the future. (I think in the JamesBond movies, such "canggih" technology already existed for long, long time ago> Anyway, my brother doesn't even know how to swim either.

Personal Messages:
To Ashley: Sorry, cannot teman you go. But, don't come up my house and start to threaten/force me to go pula. You know I don't know any martial-art if you try to knock me down.
To Dianne: Too bad, too bad. I will just have to pass you the pendrive next year. Don't worry, it's gonna be "alright" for your pendrive to be in my HAND!

* I can't believe I can still write a post although I thought I won't have any topics to be blogged about anymore.*

Few Updates

Labels: , , , ,

There are a few things happened since I didn't blog for like 1 month++.

1. Exam
Okay, now final exam had finished. I can guaranteed all my results like s***. I didn't really into the study-mood as usual. It's kinda weird, although I didn't prepare for this final exam me and the others were not really that "kan-chiong" mood or stressed out(a lot). I guess we already prepared for the worst without trying our best. Well, I have to "pia" next year since our biggest exam is on that year. No more honey-moon year. In fact, one week before exam(holiday) I was like watching online movies like crazy. "I am Legend" & "The Independence Day" were the 2 movies I liked most. I still reminds people not to watch "Disaster Movie" because the title explains every single details I want to tell. I thought it's gonna be nice since they produce the "Scary Movie 4". But, it sucks all time. Not funny and I don't even understand the storyline (I know my English verryyy poor but this is the worst movie that I don't even understand a single part of it).

2. Sims 2
Immediately after exam, I didn't go to play maple as usual. I felt no mood to do so(until now still the same). But, after the child whose my mother is babysitting (Jo Yee) asked me to install back the Sims 2, suddenly I think the game is nice and started playing every single day. Plus, May Lyn borrowed me some of the expansion packs which are really cool. So, I was addicted to that game again after not playing for like more than half a year. May Lyn bought the "cetak rompak" disc for RM24 and it contains more than 15 Sims 2 & Sims 1 expansion packs. In US, one expansion pack costs around $30 dollar. They should have lowered down the price so more people can afford to buy. Not like what's happening in our country and other countries as well. Downloading from the internet and buying copies illegally. Actually, that's exactly what I'm doing right now. I downloaded a few expansion packs. So, for those who want the packs, ask from me and I charge RM2 per packs(LOL!! JKJK!! For free I mean).

3. Sick
I forgot to mention that I sick like a pig from the day I started the exam until the moment I am blogging now. Flu is my worst enemy. Just watched a few "alien flu" invasion movies like "The Invasion" and "Day of the Dead(2008)", they gave me chills if I ever be a zombie. HAHAHA!! The first victim I kill if I happens to become a zombie is.......>>>(mission impossible music playing)>>>is myself, so that I won't be able to kill others. I will be first zombie to be granted "The Noblest Zombie Ever In History". Muahahah!! Back to original topic, I did go to shopping mall with some of our friends here> Ashley, Jolene, Zi-Ling, Tabitha & Natalie and watched "House Bunny" although I am still sicking. It's been almost a year I last saw Zi-Ling( my old schoolmate). She still walks her old same style. If you guys are wondering, she walks like Renee.
No offence but it's truly an art of walking. Make her your master-sifu if you wanna learn that. I guess nobody can still beats Kah Mei's "cat-walking" style. Actually, I think Kah Mei's one is the EXTREME type. So, I'm advising the other children NOT to follow her.

4. Tabitha's Party
After having Tabitha as a friend for like 7 years, I have never been to her party nor any of my last time schoolmates' parties. Don't blame me because I have to (sort of) obey my "Form 4 Going Out With Friends Rule". Anyway, her house is really humongous. 3-storey bungalow and it has a magnificient view from the high ground. I did built her house in Sims 2 but not sure about some of the parts. Her mother is great, VERY open-minded and funny. Her father looks like my father(just my father is not that charismatic), looks strict but soft inside. The food are really nice especially when Tabitha got 4 cakes for her birthday party. A lot of food actually are on the table including specially "cute-made-pink" jellies by Denise and Ashley's "chef-style-eggy" sandwich. Dianne brought the shepard pie(not sure the spelling) and so from there I ate my first beef. Actually, I don't mind eating beef since my brother and father also eat beef themselves. But, I don't really like the taste(not used to). My favourite still the "soft-white-crunchyskin" CHICKEN! Suddenly, I feel like working in KFC so that I can smell the "The Smell of Chicken" and steal the spicy flavour chicken everyday. Again, back to original topic, at one time after Denise told me that she doesn't know how to blow a balloon, so I go try blowing a balloon but the balloon will NEVER ever inflate. This is what they call "sui" in Hokkien. Not I don't know how to blow, just that the balloon is stupid(blaming the balloon instead). I swear I know how to blow, last time. Need some practise maybe.

I don't really wanna talk about my photo-abusing event there. There is one that I still couldn't accept the fact that Dianne posted it on Facebook. Dianne, maybe you're my second victim to be bitten if I be a zombie....That picture is just HORRIBLE, actually my face does play a part but just keep the photo as a "memory", don't go posting around the net please. Right now, I didn't go check Friendster yet whether they have posted that picture or not.

Advise to the others: Don't let your friends ever take your pictures in their own cameras unless you are willing to take the risk. If the pictures turns out bad, YOU ARE DEAD MEAT! Your friends will blackmail you and worst case, that picture haunts you forever.

5. My Spectacles
Almost forgotten that night, I broke my specs into HALF! I mean the metal joining together the 2 lens broke into half. Ket Sam......My parents have to go the store to get it fixed. RM40 just flew away from just fixing a new frame. Actually, I wanted to change to the modern type frame(very thickish-coloured at the side) but I think it's gonna be very expensive. So, my mother chose the cheapest and normal type. The frame looks exactly the same as the old one, just that it has a word at the side of it: CRANE. I guess that's the "cheap" brand.

Cyber Olympic

Syok.....
Yesterday, I went to Tabitha's church for a "cyber olympic" event. Actually, you and everyone else just have to compete each other in a cyber game, either from PS2, Xbox or a Wii platform. So, they got all three platforms over there. Tabitha fetched me there together with Natalie and Tabitha's cousin, her name was something like Tze Tsian (sory, don't know how to spell). A lot of people didn't come because it was raining heavily yesterday, including Ashley(hm....), Wismen (no transport), Adeline(cannot come), Stephanie(don't know why) and Fion(lazy).

First-time playing Wii....
Anyway, there were not many people at the Gospel Hall too. First, we find for our own partner and register our name. Me and Tab was the first team playing Wii. We started playing Boxing first. THE GAME WAS SO KENG!!! You just need to move your hands and the avatars in the game will fight according to your movement. HAHAHA!!! IT WAS HILARIOUS looking at us playing. Anyway, I won over Tabitha. But, I lost the second round to May Lyn. I was too enjoyed playing the game. I guess if Ashley("Judo Master") did come, she might punched the screen until "pecah" or terus kill my avatar.

Eg. of a Nintendo Wii

Wii Trailer(very nice)

The people in this video are not us. But, this is almost the same as we play time....

The Wii Boxing Game itself

Playing the dance mat game....
So, after that I went to play to Dance game(don't know what's the name). There is a dance mat connecting to the PS2, if I'm not mistaken. So, practically you just need to move your legs following the arrow on the screen. Haiya, I'm sure you all know this game. I totally suck at this game. Always getting "Boo!!" scores. Tabitha was better. She can dance on it. If Janice comes, I think she will scores better than us as I always think her Chinese" fan dance" is good.

Eg. of a Dance Mat

Next to Xbox.....
Then, Tabitha invited me to play football on Xbox. I noticed that the Xbox controller is almost the same as PS2 controller, just that it really looks cooler and much bigger because I think you can put a card game in that Xbox controller. I don't even know how to play the football game, just kicking there and here. Fortunately, the game has no referree. So, you can play "how-ever" you like, with no rules at all!

Eg. of a Xbox
Now, it's tennis time....
After playing boxing on Wii, we then play tennis. I didn't know that you can have 4 players in that game and there are 4 controllers for Wii?!? Hehe...I was better playing that game. I somemore went into the finals. Though, I lost the finals to some pros. But, I think the game was much easier compared to boxing as it reacts much faster than boxing. This means that in boxing, you need to move your hand slower or not it won't detect your movement. In tennis, you can swing as fast as you want and still, it can detect the directions of your movement.

Wii Tennis

The flood's coming....
Wah, immediately after that tennis game, I called my parents to fetch me. I heard there was a flood at the entrance of the Mobile petrol station there. Scared cannot go home....Actually, I called my parents a lot of times before that because Tabitha's parents were stucked in a flood in Sungai Ara area. So, in the end her auntie had to fetch them home. By the way, my family was gonna go to Queensbay. I decided to call them to fetch me when they wanna go out time. Luckily, my brother's car managed to get to the Gospel Hall and get me.

In Queensbay....
Actually, my parents wanted to go there to buy mooncakes. So, I decided to follow them or not I won't even think I wanna go there(Sien). I still saw a lot of peoples in Queensbay althought it was still raining at that time, around 7.45pm. So, the first thing we did was to get some FOOD!! My brother "belanja" us eat at the Dave's Deli, the second "koh kap" restaurant I have visited after going to Kim Gary Restaurant in Gurney. For me, it is very "koh kap" already, but not sure for you all. My brother called for us a dish of chicken+smash potato+salad. Very Hor Liau!!! The meat is so smooth and the salad was delicious.... Then, when we wanna go buy mooncakes in Queenbay time, we couldn't find it. So, in the end we went to Sunshine to buy the Kam Lun Tai mooncakes. Luckily, it didn't closed yet. We reached home at around 10pm. I felt so "chuan" after that. What to do....I have a stamina-less body.

This is the dish that we ate

Credits...
Anyway, wanna thanks Tabit for inviting me there and although I didn't really play much, it was enjoyable and get to meet new peoples. Another good practise for socializing.

Lee Chong Wei - Our Hope For The First Ever Gold For Malaysia

Malaysia's history in badminton in Olympic........

1992 Barcelona Games
  • Razif Sidek and Jailani Sidek - Bronze(Doubles)

1996 Atlanta Games
  • Cheah Soon Kit and Yap Kim Hock - Silver(Doubles)
  • Rashid Sidek - Bronze(Singles)

It started when the badminton game became a medal sport in the 1992 Barcelona Games - if I'm not mistaken. I was borned in that year. So, I didn't get to watch Razif Sidek and Jailani Sidek won their bronze medal in the doubles. To be precise, I don't even know how to watch TV at that time. Sob.... Next, Cheah Soon Kit and Yap Kim Hock won the first ever silver medal for Malaysia. In that same Olympic Game, Rashid Sidek too had won the bronze medal in the singles. That ends our medal earning in the Olympic badminton.......But the story continues tonight...

Hoping to make history...
Tonight, at 8.48pm(+8GMT) a badminton match will be on between Lee Chong Wei(Malaysia) vs Lin Dan(China). Lee Chong Wei is trying to get the first ever Olympic gold for our nation. This is very exciting for me. I have been waiting for this moment for really long time. I know he has the capability to beat Lin Dan aka Super Dan. It is still 50-50 in terms of percentage of winning the match. But, I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY...... want him to become Malaysia's first ever Olympic gold medallist.

End of my post.....
I will write another post after the match. I hope the title will be like.."CHONG WEI HAD DONE IT!!!!" and not like..."CHONG WEI FAILED TO BECOME MALAYSIA'S FIRST EVER OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALLIST". That would be a disaster for me and the whole nation. But then, if he gives his best in that match, it is okay for him to lose or whatsoever. No matter what, like always my mother says, "There is gonna be a lose side and a winning side in a game. Accept it...."

CHONG WEI, WE SUPPORT U!

MALAYSIA BOLEH!

Setting a new world record......
I got to know that Penang is organizing the world's largest dragon boat race after reading The Star newspaper this morning. Though I know that Penang did organized dragon boat race every year ( if I'm not mistaken), but this time they are planning to host the largest festival. Coincidentally, former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair was in a visit to Malaysia on Tuesday to attend the 22nd Sultan Azlan Shah Law Lecture in Kuala Lumpur and State Tourism, Culture, Arts and Heritage Commitee chairman, Danny Law Heng Kiang is planning to invite him to attend the event.

Muahahha....starting today, I will not go to school until next Tuesday so that I can do my home-study for my mid-term exam on next Wednesday till Saturday(ya, I will be having school on that Sat. as it is a "cuti ganti" for Hari Raya). Seriously, I need to do some studying or not I will fail my final exam because I didn't really touch my textbooks since MY MID-YEAR EXAM! Been playing Maple all the time....

Can't wait for solar eclipse....
Until now, I am still not sure whether I'm able to see the solar eclipse on 1st of August from my place(Penang, Malaysia). Anyway, I can still see the photos from internet. :)

Penang Home Visit

Thursday, 16 July 2008
Doing community service......
I went on a school trip to the Penang Home, housed to around 285 old people. The trip was organised in conjunction with the Moral Language Week in my school. There were about 50-60 students following the trip there. This is also the first time I go to an old folk's home...officially...Once I went there just to visit around the Penang Home without spending time with the old citizen there. Besides that, I need this community service to complete my Moral course work. Having fun with the old people is too another reason.

Beginning.....
Before we started boarding our buses(2), our teachers gave us some taklimat( a set of brief guide) of our trip. Actually, the way to the Penang Home from our school is just like 15 minutes of driving. So, approximately we reached there at about 8.15am. Though, I had wished to sleep a little longer in the bus....In fact, we have been told that we had reached there a little earlier. The people in charged there had planned for us an activitiy to do Xiang Gong with the old people. So, practically we had a nice half an hour of Xiang Gong with them.

The tour.......
One of the person in charged in that home is Mr. Chandran. He gave us a tour of the home and there were plenty of facilities for the oldies. I am happy for them...Among the facilities provided are Dewan Rekreasi(Recreational Hall), Klinik(Clinic)-24 hours of medical care, Karaoke, pebble pathway, television, Bingo playing area and a lot more. Overall, the place is very clean and ideal as the home is very near to the Lam Wah Ee Hospital. During our tour, we had a chance to talk together with the old folks there. They were happy to share their experiences of staying at the home with us.

Performance time....
After that, it was performance time. The first performance was performed by a group of old people. They sang a chinese song(not sure the title). One of the lead singer even sang us a MALAY SONG! She was energetic while singing the song solo. Then, it was our turn to perform. My class was the first group to perform. We sang Do-Re-Mi as we have thought that they might like it. At first, we had planned to sing both Do-Re-Mi and "Mua Li Hua" songs. But then, think again the MuaLiHua song was too hard for us. There were quite a number of performances that were planned for the old folks, including feshion shows(I don't really agree with that either), more singing, and group singing with the old folks(One of the songs were The Sha-La-La song).

Nearing the end....
Before we ended the trip, we had a birthday party for the old people there who had their birthdates in the month of July. We gave them some gifts before we left the Penang Home. They thanked us for coming to entertain all those old folks. I am glad that we did something for them. Good efforts come from the hearts, not just assets.

*I hope I am able to upload some pictures on this trip*
Update: I have finished uploading all the pictures for viewing.

This is Penang Home, located somewhere in Green Lane, beside Lam Wah Ee Hospital.

First Outing with Friends (officially)

Not anti-social case.....
LOL.....after like for so many years didn' t really go out with my friends, finally I went out with them yesterday to Gurney Plaza. Some of them are who I have known them since my primary schools and believe it or not, I have NEVER gone out with them a single time!!!!. Actually, it's not really the problem of me being "anti-social", I'm just LAZY...I felt the fun of staying at home. I like playing computer games, surfing the net and of course watching television.

Walking together.....
So, after all this time, I finally went out with them to one of the malls in Penang. I did promise my friends that I will be out with them when I'm 16 years old. Why 16???(not sure). I was thinking of buying one of my friend a birthday present, but then felt like it was so "not-fun". In the end, I took this chance to go shopping with my friends and at the same time, belanja my belated-birthday friend eat something.

Sitting Rapid Penang for the first time.....
There are quite some "first-time" events in this post. Me and the belated-birthday friend(Fion) went to Gurney Plaza by bus and this is also the first time I sit in Rapid Penang (a type of bus). It costed me RM1.50 to go from Gelugor to Komtar and another RM1, from Komtar to Gurney. However, we walked from Midlands to Gurney as we were hesitated whether the bus we took will bring us directly to Gurney. When we reached the mall, there were already 4 friends waiting for us there. We sort of walking around in the mall for some time because we were waiting for another 2 friends to come.

Eating at Kim Gary Restaurant......
After the other 2 friends have reached, we went to eat at Kim Gary restaurant. That was also my first visit to that restaurant and first time eating at such a high-class restaurant. The "highest" class restaurant that I had gone to was Secret Recipe (if I'm not mistaken). WHOA!!! The food in Kim Gary Restaurant were so pricey, the cheapest one was like RM6.50. I didn't really look through the whole order list. That was what I ate and it was a pork burger. Though it was really, really delicious. I didn't really order any drink but just a cold, plain water for 50cent. Anyway, altogether of us 8 people ate for about RM95.50. How Expensive......swt. (BEH KAM AR)

No direction to go.....
After that, we couldn't decide whether we wanted to watch a movie or not. The earliest movie was starting at 2.30pm-4.45pm(The Incredible Hulk). Some of us had to go back at 3pm while some had already watched the movie. So, we decided just to hang around the mall. We splitted into 2 groups. I was hanging around with 4 friends. We went the most into shoplots selling shoes. Haiz.....they were like trying on high-heels shoes and all those sort of stuffs. In the end, we came into this Metro Jaya. They sold clothes for men and women. In the woman's section, dresses were the most to be seen.

Forced to wear.......-dress-............
When I first stepped into the lot, I didn't really feel good. My instinct was damn right when my friends forced to me try on the dresses. They chose for me one. That dress was like damn nice for my friends but I felt totally the other way round about the dress. I HATE DRESS!!!!! I just don't like wearing them. They were like persuading me to wear it or else they will buy for me a pink dress/shirt on my next birthday. How ket sam is that..........They even planned for my prom's night attire and shoes.

Mission failed.....
HAHAHAHA!!!! In the end, I won the mission. I didn't have to wear the dress as I kept insisting that "I don't want". ME-1 & DRESS-0. Cheers!!! But I'm not sure when I can run away from this thing. Yesterday was like my very first outing with them and they left such a memorable event for me. SWT...

Gaining New Experience-Abseiling

4 in 1 Day.......
Yesterday, I went to school because it was a Co-curriculum Day & Hari Senithon & Hari Kluster & Hari Pelancaran Bulan Kecergasan. Yes.....4 events in one day. In fact, I wasn't planning to go to school at all but think back, I had already paid RM4 for the abseiling event. All of us were required to line up at the Perdana Field by 7.30am. We were waiting for the VIP to arrive, who is the Deputy Minister of Education II of Malaysia, Y.B. Dato' Razali bin Ismail. He was greeted with lion dance team and "kompang" team from our own school girls. Man!!! Dato' Razali really knows how to make jokes. He made the whole crowd laughing during his speech.

Dancing.......
After everyone's speeches, we needed to sing all the songs from national anthem, Negaraku to our school song. Immediately after that, the "Senam Seni" or called as The Exercise of Arts(my grammar sucks...) started. It is actually a combination of dances from different cultures such as Tarian Zapin(Malay dance), Silat(Malay martial art), Chinese Dance, Indian Dance, and a few more if I'm not mistaken. Gosh..... those showing the steps on top of the stage were all TEACHERS!!! How cool is that.....I didn't really much do most of the dances or moves. Wait till I post a video on my friend doing the dance....

Blur case.......
Practically after that, we didn't do much as me and my 3 friends were waiting turns to go for the abseiling thing. There were 2 events organised by the school's Sport Section which are the abseiling and another one is flying fox. I chose abseiling as I was eager to try it. Flying fox seems more fun but you just need to slide down and that's the end of the story. We waited from like 10am till 11am because there was some technical issues and a "blur teacher". That teacher called us to wait up there for our turns but she didn't give us the equipment to wear. So, we were like waiting for our turn up at the building for the whole hour.

Miracle......
I was like getting more nervous as every minutes had passed. In the end, when the instructor called us down again to wear the equipments, it was like 11am. Me and another friend had duties. So, we left. Actually, I sort of giving up of doing the abseiling thing. Honestly, I chickened out.(= ='). So, I decided to go back at 12pm instead of 2pm. But then, miracle happened. My friend, May Lyn asked for my help to find her sister because she needed to inform her sister that they were going back at 12pm too. So, me and May Lyn went on finding and finding until we reached the abseiling area.

2 decisions......
Then, I saw my 3 friends again. They were still waiting. The earlier friend that went for duty had came back there and wait for her turn. So, they were persuading me to do abseiling thing. At first, one of them called me to help them tell teacher that we were here first when waiting for the turn. However, at that time was like 11.45pm, and my friends still haven't get their turns. So, I helped them to tell the "blur teacher" and finally we got our turns to do the abseiling FIRST! My friend, May Lyn went on looking for her sister and I went to do the abseiling thing. (Don't need to say it, I know I suck, having to left May Lyn alone finding her sis......but if I don't do the abseiling, I wasted my RM4...plz understand my feeling)

On top of the world(lol, only 3 storeys).......
When I was up there hanging on top of the 3 storeys building, I don't really feel the scariness nor the nervousness. It was that excitement that pushed me to do it. I did 2 "jumps"(not sure the correct word) down the building and the rest, I couldn't hang on anymore. So, I was like sliding down the rope and when I reached the ground,....PHEW!!!! I said in my mind, "I am safed now". But, my hands were burning at the moment. It hurted a lot. Whatever it is, I have done the abseiling and I HAD CONQUERED MY FEAR!!! That's the best part of it. At that time was around 12.20pm and I told my father to come and fetch me at 12pm.

Swt......pitty him waiting for me outside the gate.

Of course I'm not that pro..

Dizziness...
When I woke up this very early morning time, I felt so dizzy. The world was rotating in front of me. "Ah......me sick again", I thought. Well, I still had gone to school though but I was pretty blur for the whole morning. Fortunately, things got better in the afternoon.

Bad luck....
Usually, in my class me and my 3 other friends are always the latest to go out of the class to go to science laboratory or latest to come bac
k into our class from recess or from other things else. So, we often didn't line up as our classmates do. Then, our school has this kind of rule for students to line up before going out of the class. Luckily, me and my 3 other friends didn't get caught by teachers all the time for not lining up with our classmates. However, things took a turn today when out of a sudden, a disciplinary teacher stopped our class because she said our class was so messy and not lining up together. Even worse, me and my 'not-punctual' gang hadn't come down from our class at that time(as usual).
So, when I came down( my class is located on the 2nd floor), I was curious and scared because my class and the disciplinary teacher were looking at me and my friends. Whoa....try imagining that. "Oh, no! Mayday...Mayday...", I thought. Then, the teacher started scolding "Because of you all, your whole class is punished. What were you all doing up there in the class. Do you all know how late you are!!!! and bla.......bla.....bla......"
I mean like we were late because we were packing our stuffs to bring to the lab. right....
Ya, I know we were late but still.. there are so many other classes that did not line up too and why did the teacher stopped us today?? I guessed her mood was not that good at that time.

Real April Fool for me....
Last Saturday, when I went visiting my aunt in Batu Ferringhi, I found out that my younger cousin had a email account. So, she gave me hers and I added her. Today, I saw her online and message her. At first, I was playing with her and did not tell her my real name yet as she did not know my email address. After chatting for some time, I discovered that there was something wrong. When she asked for my name and I gave her some hint like telling her my surname. Then, she said she did not have any relatives have the same surname as mine.
Oh, that's when the time I thought of maybe a wrong email address was given by my cousin to me. So, I said to that 'not-known' person (supposedly my real cousin) that I will confirmed later about the correct email address. The person started asking "Who the heck that tells you my email address?" and things like that. I quickly exited my messenger because of that annoying person.
I guessed I got the wrong email address given by my cousin or she played a prank on me. Who knows....

A NEWBIE TO THE WORLD OF BLOGGING

First Post
Saturday, 29 March 2008

Alright, this is my first post of my blog and first time blogging . I guess everyone introduce themselves in their first post. I am a high school student, 16 years old female who lives in Penang, Malaysia. I have a small family, mom, dad and a brother(27 years old and married). Me and my brother are like 11 years of difference in age. Sure I'm quite lonely in the family but still it's a happy family (like the card game).

To be honest to all the readers, the purpose of writing this blog is to improve my English. So, I think many of you do not like to read a blog which full of grammar mistakes or broken English(including myself) although I'm having that very same problem. I speak Hokkien at home and I hate reading storybooks. However, that's not really my biggest problem, the thing is I don't really like to speak in English and I'm lazy to put my effort into it. So, after much thinking, since I like to type so much, I decided to blog. At first, like most people, I have no idea of what to blog. I guess the easies topic to blog is to blog about your life( which is the most boring for me). Still..there's nothing much I can do about it.

Anyway, stop all that nonsense. Let's start the real blogging.

Today, I'm suppose to go praying for Qing Ming. Qing Ming is a festival where the Buddhist people pray their ancestors. I went to pray my grandmother and my grandfather from my father's side today. But first my family and I went to pray my grandfather first. Luckily, my grandfather was cremated. So, we just need to pray him inside one of the columbarium in Penang (at Mount Erskin). However, we need to pray my grandmother under the hot, morning sun because my grandmother was buried in the cemetery opposite my grandfather's columbarium. We reached home around 3pm. So tiring...

My aunt and my cousin from Pahang too had came back today for the Qing Ming festival. So, after getting some sleep, I went out again to pray my greatgrandmother in Teluk Kumbar with my relatives at around 5pm and immediately after that, we went visiting my another aunt in Batu Ferringhi. In the end, I reached home at 11pm. My bed was the first thing I had thought of...and so sleepiness stopped me from doing other things. ZZZZZZZZ......sweet dream...

2nd Day of Qing Ming
Sunday, 30 March 2008

Again, woke up at 8am this morning. No,yesterday was earlier! I woke up around 7 something. I guessed yesterday night I slept soundly.Well, today me and my family went praying my grandmother and grandfather from my mother's side instead. Fortunately, my family and I do not need to go to two difference places to pray because both my grandmother and grandfather were buried at the same cemetery lot. But to get there is another thing. We need to climb up a very steep hill to get there. Actually, I could have followed my cousin up there with a motorcycle but I was determined to push myself to the limit. I breathed hard when I reached at the cemetery (haiz, stubborn....).

After praying, went home. Reached home around 11am and I slept until 4pm. What had happened to me??...sleep, sleep and sleep. After eating the food that had brought back from praying, my computer was the next thing I had been facing till now 11.26pm. Felt like not going school tomorrow. Let's see what happens tomorrow.
