Our Downfall(s) in Japan Open

1. LeeChongWei vs SonyDwiKuncoro
First Game
At first, I don't really that intense watching this match. Anyway, I was eating my chicken rice while watching them playing. So, I thought this should be easy for ChongWei to win this match as he had won over that Indonesian player for many times. Talking about the match, actually LCW could have won the first game. From 1-11 points, both players were not really that far apart. It's like every time LCW wins 2 points, Sony wins a point. But then, things changed in the second half. LCW was leading 16-12 at a point. After that, I don't know what happened. Sony kept winning points and amazingly ALL THE WAY, HE JUST REACHED HIS 21st POINTS AND IN THAT 16-21 POINTS PROCESS, LCW ONLY WON 1 POINT. Only the first game had lasted for 21 minutes. That is already equivalent/more to the total time of LCW needed win over the Danish player in semifinal!!! It is obvious LCW having some bad control here...

The first game : 16-21 (Sony won the game)

Second Game
Hoping that LCW will fight back in the second game. Usually the pro players will fight back in second game if they lost the first game. But, things just got worse. From the very first half, LCW already let Sony won 5 points ahead of him. After he won 5 points, only LCW won his FIRST point. What's wrong with him? If I'm not mistaken, when Sony won his 11th point, LCW was at his 3rd point. I couldn't really remember....I only know that in the whole second game, LCW was trailing very far behind from Sony. The deficit points between them were always 10 points. So, practically, there was no way for LCW to win that second game and "apatah lagi" the match.

The second game : 11 - 21 (Sony won the game)

FINAL RESULT : LeeChongWei lost to SonyDwiKuncoro (16-21, 11-21)

2. ChinEeiHui-WongPeiTyt vs ChengShu-ZhaoYunLei
First Game
Practically, I didn't really watch them playing. There was always no excitement to watch women's doubles. Because, the Chinese players dominate it at every final of most of the tournaments. In fact, I already forgotten that our Malaysian pair is fighting in that final. One thing I really admired our Malaysian pair is that they can win over that Indonesian pair, VitaMarissa-LilyanaNatsir in the semifinal. That's how PeiTyt-EeiHui got into the final. THEY BEAT THEM!! It's pretty extraordinary as Indonesia is famous for their women players. For example, the legendary Susi Susanti ( my mother always call her "Susah-Hati"). I never get to watch her play before because I was small at that time. So, I got to know her from my mom. My mom said that she always lose in the first match to her opponent and fight back in the second game. No matter what, she will win her matches.

The first game : 19-21 (China pair won)
Second Game
Okay, back to original topic. So, where am I?!? Oh ya, talking about EeiHui-PeiTyt first game. I just know that they lost the first game to that amateur pair from China. I couldn't really believe that they can win over our Malaysian-really-experienced-players. EeiHui-PeiTyt are a really "lau-chiau" pro players. Anyway, I also didn't watch the second game. So, I can't write a review about that. But they won the second game. jelir But, look at the score below. Isn't that something really "KENG"? The Chinese pair only managed to get a total of 5 points. Were they over-confident or what? I think they thought that our Malaysian pair sure cannot win one. So, that's why they fight like s***. It was too late to know that they were wrong!

The second game : 5-21 (Malaysian pair won)

Third Game
In that third game, I didn't watch the very beginning. I did watch the whole second half. Sad ending. Now, the Chinese pair said "It's Pay Back Time" because our Malaysian pair played really bad in the first half of this third game. At a point, our Malaysian pair was trailing from 5-11 (I couldn't really remember too). Then, in the second half our Malaysian pair did a lot of silly mistakes, (eg. served too low, smashed out, wrong backline judgement). In the end, they Chinese pair got to their 17th point and our Malaysian pair got their 9th point. As I was watching until this moment, my heartbeat got faster with every point our Malaysian pair won and every point we lost.

Until a point where the scoreboard was 17-19. It was so "Kin-Chiung" at this time. I thought they could stand a chance to win the match. But wait, after this our Malaysian did a mistake and the Chinese pair won their 20th point. Three matchpoints for the Chinese. I still have the hope on our Malaysian pair. I know if they are not nervous, they might have won it. Then, the Malaysian pair did win their 18th points. I was hoping they get to force deuce at 20-20. But, my hope was crashed when Chinese got to their 21st point when EeiHui/PeiTyt thought one of the Chinese's hit was "Out". And that concludes the whole match and we LOST, AGAIN! But, I know they tried their best. Try harder next time!

There were 2 hopes that our Malaysian players might win one of the finals. But, luck was not with us. We lost both of the finals. Too bad, too bad......Anyway, I enjoyed watching my favourite sport EVER after having a hard time doing my Add. Math...

The third game : 18- 21 (Chinese pair won)

THE FINAL RESULT : ChinEeiHui-WongPeiTyt lost to ChengShu-ZhaoYunLei (21-19, 21-5, 18-21)
